A few years ago someone posted an interpretation of the 9by9 lyrics. Does anyone remember this or have an interpretation? It was quite a while ago and i
remember it being quite insightful.

i think the last time this occurred, the post got deleted or something. lyrics cannot be reproduced with prior written consent of the artist. so i think you
might have to get marc or dego's permission before doing so.
however, there is a site that does host this lyric. oh sweet baby google. here's the link and we can discuss from there again. but damn, you got me fiending for that b-side again. what a badddd tune! time to pull out ol' "les fleur" again. if only 4hero could drop these awesome b-sides every once and awhile.

It's not the lyrics i'm after, its the meaning behind the lyrics, get me.
True it is a bad(!) tune. It has got to be one of my most listened to tracks of any artist. |

I think it's based on an old gospel song, so very religious undertones

Only as I try and build my 4hero vinyl collection, do I come by tidbits like this. At first thought, I wondered why this didn't appear on the Creating
Patterns LP, as with that album the lads seemed to start moving away from the "4hero formula"so to speak. But gained momentum in a different
direction. But this track reminds me of why I so love the Two Pages long player.
But...then there's the charm of buying a 12" to hope to have some dopeness like this crop up on a b-side. Back in the day you didn't know what you might be getting on a b-side. Now with online music snippets, it does take away from the element of suprise, (or disappointment). Not to slam gaining access to all things online however. I would never have been able to tighten up with much of my music collection (especially 4hero stuff) if it wasn't in digital format.
~edit~ Oh and notice the similarities between this and Bed of Roses! ~re-edit~ - bigup to chrismbimead for even making this post. The revisiting of this track, is one of the best 6 minutes I've spent recently!
thanks!

definitely should have been on the Creating Patterns album...big tune...but as Sanpanico says, to get this on a 12....well, that's just priceless!
