i wish they'd add some cellshading to those animated 3d movies, they all look the same (bad).. the pixar ones are the better ones, but they all have the
same (disney) storyline - so i skipped the last ones

Yeah there's some great footage of the Star Wars Clone Wars movie about. The movie comes out on August 15th and then there will be a TV series on the
Cartoon Network (much like Tartakovsky's series in format I presume).
Some weird stuff going on. Anakin gets a Padawan (even though he is NOT a Jedi himself yet). Vehicles that can climb sheer cliff faces. Assaj Ventress appears as well as Count Dooku. Jabba the Hutt's son gets kidnapped.... yes you did read that right - Jabba has a son! (This immediately invokes a mental image of 2 big fat slugs writhing around and getting it on LMAO). Also, this is the first Star Wars film not to be released by 20th Century Fox - that's going to make the familiar, iconic credits seem very strange. |

Indiana Jones films by David Ehrenstein, LA
Critic who also wrote a prescient article over a year back that anticipated the reasons behind the popular appeal of Barrack Obama…anyhow the line about the
Indy series;
"The only thing I've ever liked in the entire series is Kate Capshaw and company doing "Anything Goes" at the start iof Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The rest is Fritz Lang if he hadn't studied architecture. There is no sense of place -- or space -- in the latest entry whatsoever. Available in the United States for next to nothing as a set (search for The Indian Epic) I cannot recommend these two films highly enough, look in perfect condition as well, great, fun films.
Unrelated note, heard there's a Prince of Persia film in the works, hope they do it proper like, the games look to be getting back on track to the masterful Sands of Time vibe with the new Prince of Perisa out this fall, looks absolutely stunning.
For every evil, there is a greater good.
For every innocent, there is a protector. For every legend, there is a 4hero.

new clone wars trailer is out on apple.com. i don't know. i will watch
it, i will regret it. i'm sick of all those animated movies, they all look the same (disney's all got the same storyline). having watched that new
trailer, i felt i heard all those phrases before in at least one other star wars movie and/or game. sad. bad. bleh.
